In the Air: TGIGP Is Now Going Places. A New Journey in Travel Inspiration

Travel has a unique way of connecting us with the world around us. I remember when this publication started as a simple blog. Back then, it was just a way to share my adventures. However, I soon realized that my travels, while meaningful, did not resonate with many readers. Instead of inspiring them, my experiences felt like they highlighted a gap between adventure and everyday life.

To inspire others, I learned I needed to focus on the stories of travelers like you. This realization led to "This Girl Is Going Places" (TGIGP), a celebration of exploration and the spirit of adventure. Yet, as I grew and our community blossomed, a colleague suggested renaming it "Going Places." It felt like destiny, as "Going Places" was the title of my very first post!

Now, we've made remarkable progress in our mission to inspire discovery. With our transition to Going Places, we're eager to share even more stories and opportunities for exploration. Join us on this exciting journey!

Looking back at our evolution from TGIGP to Going Places, it’s astonishing how much we've achieved. The goal was to create a gathering space for travel lovers to connect and share their narratives.
